8 seminars for officials, regarding social and legal problems, were conducted in 4 cities.

Social and legal problems of IDPs and ways to solve them were the issues discussed by the specialists of All-Ukrainian Charitable Foundation 'Gorenie' with officials in four cities. For this purpose, 'Gorenie' conducted 8 seminars, from January to April. They included 80 hours successful experience exchange, practical lessons, and psychological training. 205 members visited the seminars.

8 seminars for officials, regarding social and legal problems, were conducted in 4 cities.

The meetings were conducted by UCF "Gorenie" trainers in Dnipro, Zaporizhia, Kharkiv, and Mariupol. The program included:
  • discussion on social and legal problems of IDPs;
  • the experience of legislative regulation for registration, settlement, and accommodation of IDPs;
  • court practice in IDPses rights protection;
  • psychological aspects of working with IDPs and specific recommendations to reduce the tension in working with IDPs.

In total, the seminars were visited by 205 members. Most of them are freelance regional counselors of Ministry of Social Policy, heads of the relevant governmental institutions and centers of a secondary legal aid providing, as well as workers of the Departments of social protection.

The event is caring out by the Charitable organization "All-Ukrainian Charitable Foundation "Gorenie" under the project of "Support local communities in Ukraine due to the increased number of internally displaced persons", which is one of the initiatives of infrastructure programs for Ukraine of Government of Germany and implemented by the Deutsche Gesellschaftfür Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH. Initiatives aim to help regions with the highest number of internally displaced persons, namely, Kharkiv, Dnipropetrovsk, and Zaporizhia regions.
